About
Watching your child struggle is excruciating. You want to help them, but they aren't really listening to you. Sometimes they drown you out with yelling or crying, and sometimes they won't talk at all. They do not seem to find joy in the things they used to, and they are not connecting to their friends or peers anymore. Their grades are slipping, they are spending too much time in their room, on a screen, or generally just disconnected. You know your child needs help, but sitting in an office and talking to a stranger doesn't seem like anything they will try or participate in.
You want your child to feel better. You want to see them smile, laugh, and connect with the people in their life. You want them to not feel "tired" all time, and see them to make progress in school. And you want to able to talk to them without fighting, yelling, and crying. Counseling in the barn, and with horses can help.
You know your child the best, and if you feel like Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and I might be a good fit for them as therapy I cannot wait to hear from you so we can get started right away. I have appointments available this week. You can find more information on my website, and feel free to give me a call with any questions you have.
