The approach I take with clients is based on their immediate needs and their goals for treatment, and includes a combination of insight-oriented and goal-directed interventions. I work with people of all ages, and have expertise in a broad range of difficulties. I believe that an effective treatment requires curiosity, patience, and dedication from both parties.
I combine psychodynamic approaches with cognitive-behavioral techniques to help individuals, couples, and families experience rapid symptom relief. I offer comprehensive psychological services, including psychotherapy and psychological/neuropsychological testing. I have specialized training in TFP, CBT, DBT, Problem Solving Therapy, and The Maudsley Approach for Eating Disorders.
I received my Ph.D. from The New School, and trained at Beth Israel Medical Center and Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, The Stamford Hospital in Connecticut, and Payne Whitney Westchester/NY Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains, NY. I received specialized training from The Personality Disorders Institute.
