You're now taking one big step towards lifelong change! Chances are, your search so far has been a long one with a lot of bumps along the way. The world is a pretty bumpy place right now, so it makes sense that you've stayed determined in your search. My clients struggle with: anxiety, depression, trauma, managing adult ADHD/ASD symptoms, communication and feeling "othered", loss, codependence, and alcoholism. As we work together, you might also find conflict resolution and improving relationship patterns to aid you on your path. NOTE: If you are a Kaiser patient, I am building a waitlist for September.
As an individual therapist, I'm goal driven and solution-focused while also incorporating EMDR, CBT and mindfulness practices when appropriate. As a relationship counselor, I'm queer and consensual non-monogamy experienced/trained. I may add reflective and non-violent communication skills and emotions focused therapy to our relationship work.
Each session begins with what's been going well/what is working. Each session ends with a practice you can incorporate to meet the goals we co-create. I work virtually (video/phone) or in person in Long Beach, CA. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to confirm goodness of fit. When you email me, let me know your schedule/best time to consult!
