Additionally, I treat pre-teens, teens and adults who may have past history of trauma. My focus is on developing a safe, trusting and strong therapeutic relationship in order for healing to occur and to have a sense of hope restored. I engage clients through a use of therapeutic approaches including; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I am a certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist who specializes in treating pre-teens, adolescents and adults who have experienced complex trauma in their lives.
As a clinical social worker, my goal is to assist individuals in calming life(s) "storms." Through therapy we can gain insight into ourselves and develop ways to effectively cope and heal from past wounds.
