With over 20 years experience as a licensed psychologist, I think of the therapeutic relationship as a method for understanding the self. To that end, behavior patterns can be explored, internal experience can shift with the movement towards change. Perhaps you are caught in the same cycle and feeling frustrated. You may be adjusting to a life or career transition. Stuff from the past is triggering and you might not understand why you feel the way you do. We can explore and understand the meanings in a safe and creative way.
I work with adults, emerging adults, and adolescents. I have extensive experience helping clients manage mood disorders, anxiety, trauma,and executive functioning problems, as well as narcissistic injuries. Im trained in AEDP, Psychodynamic/Self psychology, EMDR, Individual/Adlerian psychology, and CBT. I'm especially interested in attachment.
