Hi, I’m Ceyda! I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, OCD, and life transitions such as advancing through college and beyond. As a therapist, I take a client-centered approach, striving to create a space where clients feel safe and supported. My therapeutic space intends to not only ease the difficulties of today, but also give individuals the tools for growing ongoing resilience, confidence, and self advocacy.
I work from a trauma-informed lens and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is an evidenced-based modality that helps individuals process and reduce distress related to difficult past experiences. It can be helpful for individuals with trauma history, PTSD, heightened anxiety, OCD, depression, or other symptoms.
Along with EMDR, I incorporate elements from expressive arts therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. With my background as an artist, I provide a space for individuals to express themselves freely whether it is through arts such as painting, drawing, and crafts or simply through discussion.
