I have been in the human services field since 1994. My 20 years of experience includes working with individuals and families. In the last 10 years I have been working with people who have experienced trauma in their life. This trauma has been the result of sexual violence either recent or from childhood. I also have extensive experience in working with people who are involved in violent relationships. Prior work experience includes intensive family therapy to help families stop the patterns that lead to abuse and neglect.

Anxiety, depression, and relational conflicts are what I and my associates' work with Most. Life is a journey with many transitions. Each one of the transition means going from something we know to something we don't. We are excited or apprehensive about what our future holds for us. And, we can be relieved or sad about what or who we are leaving. These life transitions can be challenging or enriching. Whatever they are they can be stressful. Jada is a licensed social worker who earned her bachelor of arts and science in psychology with a minor in sociology from Quinnipiac University. Jada also holds a master’s of arts in social work from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining Willis Counseling and Consulting, Jada worked supervising a mental health support and suicide prevention text line for teens. At WCC, Jada hopes to work with those age seven and older who struggle with addiction, anger, anxiety, body dysmorphia (BDD), boundaries, dating and relationships, decision making, depression and domestic violence.

The basis of an ideal client in my lens does not have a select issue. Everyone has their own life challenges and emotional weight they carry with them. In the end, what I want for my clients is a common goal to be the best version of themselves they can be while being open-minded in facing tasks related to that goal. Whether it is an interpersonal relationship problem, anxiety, substance abuse, etc; the ultimate goal is to be better in comparison to yourself yesterday rather than someone else. That common ideal goal is what I aim for with every client I work with through the use of problem-solving strategies and coping mechanisms.

I have a lot of experience working with women who have lost a spouse or partner through death or divorce, needing help with grief and becoming independent I also. work well with adults trying to cope with marital, career or anger management issues. I provide a good listening ear, give suggestions if the client is open to it. . My ideal client is one that is committed to therapy,has a goal and some idea of what he/she want to receive and will follow up with appointments and homework and begin to take some positive steps
