At Cerebral Counseling, our ideal clients are individuals across the lifespan who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, with a specialized focus on geriatric populations in nursing and assisted living settings. We also serve children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking clarity, stability, and meaningful change in their lives. Many of our clients come to us feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or uncertain about how to manage emotional distress, behavioral challenges, or cognitive changes. Families and care teams often seek our support when they notice shifts in mood, functioning, or overall well-being.

Life can feel overwhelming at times—for children, teens, young adults, and the parents who care deeply about them. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, academic stress, life transitions, or challenges in relationships. Parents often reach out because they want to better understand their child and rebuild stronger communication and connection. Individuals may simply want a safe space to talk openly, gain clarity, and develop healthier ways to manage emotions and everyday stress.

Each one of us has a story—one that begins long before we fully understand its impact. Life’s experiences, especially those we carry quietly, can begin to shape our relationships, marriages, and families in ways we don’t always recognize. Over time, these unspoken burdens can affect our peace, joy, and connection—often impacting our children and the family systems we care deeply about.

I’m Sky, and I work with clients ranging from 5 to 99 years old, supporting them through life transitions, sports challenges, pre- and postpartum changes, and relationship or family concerns. I’m passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential, supporting caregivers as they navigate the ever-changing world of parenthood, and guiding adolescents and couples toward growth and balance. I create a calm, open, and welcoming space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported exactly where you are.

Getting clarity on a diagnosis — whether it's ADHD, autism, or a learning disability — can be the difference between years of confusion and a real path forward. I'm Dr. Tamara Starling, a licensed psychologist providing comprehensive, in-person psychological and psychoeducational assessments for both children/teens and adults across the lifespan.
My practice is assessment-focused: I don't provide ongoing therapy. I offer thorough, evidence-based evaluations that give you, your family, or your referring provider clear answers and actionable recommendations — for school accommodations, workplace support, or simply self-understanding.
