I am passionate about working with Clients who struggle with Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Panic, Social Phobia, and PTSD. As I am all to well aware of through my own past experiences. I know how debilitating it can be. Anxiety tries to keep you from becoming all that you can be. It is important for me to look at therapy from a holistic approach we will incorporate sound research based theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (ERP) Exposure and Response Prevention therapy..
As a CBT therapist I am a certified expert in utilizing Exposure Response Prevention. I have been trained by the IOCDF Graduate of the BTTI program as well as training by Edna B. Foa at the Perelman School of Medicine for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias, Social Phobias and PTSD utilizing In-Vivo Exposures or Imaginary Exposures.
I am widely recognized for being versatile, dedicated professional with extensive yet diverse experience in Clinical Services with demonstrated expertise in Clinical Therapy. Intensive OCD Group
In this intensive OCD group, led by Tammy Van Linter, a graduate of the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute of the International OCD Foundation, participants will have an opportunity to engage in cognitive-behavioral therapy/exposure and response prevention in a supportive environment. Doing exposure and response prevention with the encouragement of others who also suffer from OCD can help increase motivation and enhance results.
