I have always been amazed at the inherent healing qualities of art. By providing my clients with a safe holding environment, I pave the way to explore their concerns in therapy. Art has a way of quickly bringing issues from the unconscious into the conscious realm where they can be processed verbally or just witnessed. Art is wonderful for increasing tolerance of frustration, delay of gratification and learning to verbalize emotional states. I use all of the Expressive Arts to create individually tailored experientials to promote increased understanding and growth with my clients.
I am a Board Certified and Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC). I have experience working with adolescents and children as young as 4 years old, with a variety of Developmental Delays, Autism and Self-Regulatory issues. With adult clients I have experience working with depression, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, eating disorders, and Traumatic Brain Injuries.

SATURDAY OPEN STUDIO TIME! Starting Sat Sept 23rd, 1pm-3pm and continuing throughout the fall. Come in and bring what you are working on and/or use our supplies. Open to all ages. Cost is $10/per visit. Please RSVP prior to coming 248-200-9962
