When we face serious issues we may shut-down, shame or over blame ourselves/others for the problem. Absence of healthy coping skills/emotional balance can lead to an unhappy walk through life. Therapy allows the opportunity for growth to understand personal thoughts, feelings and behavior. Together, we can re-discover healthy control, coping skills, peace, hope, and emotional balance. Perhaps for the first time, you will love, trust and feel comfortable within your own skin. I like to look at change through a developmental lens where we have the courage to break unhealthy habits and replace them with more effective skills.
The Center for Re-Discovery and Growth offers individual and group therapy with parents, children, adolescents, and adults. The range of issues I can assist with include anxiety, depression, adjustment dx, self-harming behavior, suicidal ideation, mood disorders and psychosis. You are never alone. Together we will begin the journey of living your best life.

My therapeutic approach reflects evidenced-based interventions such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology and Psychodynamic perspectives. I also consider the biological and social contributions to behavior.
