While the traditional system rushes to diagnose and medicate, we’re pioneering a bold transformation. We reject the oversimplification of human suffering and honor your emotions as valuable messengers, not symptoms to suppress.
At CIBH, you receive truly integrated care that addresses root causes—seamlessly combining evidence-based therapies, functional nutrition, psychiatric consultation and drug tapering, and coaching services. We provide the honest conversations about traditional mental health treatments, psychiatric drugs and alternatives that you deserve but rarely receive elsewhere.
Our Team
I work with adolescents and adults of all ages, with expertise in the application of CBT and DBT for individuals struggling with a variety of mood, anxiety, and behavioral concerns. I specialize in working with adolescents struggling with difficulties related to managing intense emotions (e.g. disordered eating, self-harm, suicidality, substance abuse, relationship problems, psychiatric hospitalizations). My goal is to help people learn ways to embrace, overcome, and grow from life's challenges in order to live their best lives.

I am a licensed, board certified psychologist with specialized training in application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to adolescents and adults with anxiety and mood disorders. I am also the director of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program, where I provide individual DBT and group skills training for individuals struggling with borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, non-suicidal self-injury, mood disorders, trauma and substance abuse. I believe that present-moment awareness and a nonjudgmental stance are foundations for growth, and I work alongside my clients to build a life worth living.

I primarily work with adolescents navigating the challenges of school transitions, social stressors, home concerns, and identity development. Primary emotions to be explored include worry, low mood, stress, anger, and panic. We will identify potential triggers for these emotions, as well as connecting thoughts and behaviors. I hope to offer clients a feeling of greater control over what to do behaviorally when challenging emotions arise. I am happy to work with parents and school staff on environmental strategies as well.

Authenticity, compassion and collaboration are forefront in my approach to the use of empirically supported interventions in therapy. I hope to continue working with adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety and mood related concerns, as well learning about the bidirectional influence of acute and chronic physical conditions and mental health. I am committed to helping the individual to build awareness of the context of stressors, and to change unhelpful patterns of engagement with difficult thoughts, emotions and physical experiences to help them get closer to a life worth living.
