You are feeling alone and overwhelmed. You are anxious and the negative thoughts in your head are becoming louder and more difficult to control. Your sleep is poor and when you wake you feel tired already. You want help from a holistic perspective. I will teach you how to manage your mind and your nervous system so that you can function better during the day and sleep well at night. I will help you heal the root causes of your anxiety. Your relationships and your health will improve. A "fresh look" look at your difficulties might bring hope into a situation that you have considered to be hopeless.
My approach to therapy combines evidence-based psychotherapy and perennial wisdom. In my work with couples, I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy (level three trained) and attachment-based interventions (EFT). By attending to your mind, body, spirit, and relationships we bring peace and healing into your life and strengthen your natural resilience.
I hold degrees in clinical psychology and marriage and family therapy, which gives me the knowledge to help you with your mood and your relationships. I have survived and resolved multiple traumas. Living in different countries helped me developed expertise in the areas of loneliness and belonging. My research focuses on relational needs of middle age women.
