I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. i have spent the past 7 years working with adolescent males struggling with depression, defiance, poor impulse control, boundary issues dealing with sexual perpetration, poor anger management, bullying behaviors, drug addiction, video game addiction, self-injurious behaviors, suicidal ideation, PTSD, grief, and attachment issues. My goal is to help them learn how to eliminate their abusive interactions and manage their emotions in a healthier manner through respectful communication and social interactions.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Juvenile Sex Offender Therapist. I incorporate a Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused and Person Centered approach in my counseling sessions. I strive to offer acceptance and a nonjudgmental approach when assisting my clients with achieving their goals.
