I enjoy working with a variety of clients from age 14 up. I have worked in the mental health field for nearly 20 years and have been in private practice since 2010. In my practice I strive to collaborate with clients to help each person gain perspective and skills in dealing with everyday life stressors or major life transitions as well as heal from past traumas. I am certified in LENS Neurofeedback, EMDR & Hypnotherapy. I find an integrated approach utilizing traditional Talk therapy (CBT) with Mindfulness(Hypnotherapy) & Neurofeedback(LENS) & Processing (EMDR) most effective to promote healthy healing and coping skills.
Since beginning EMDR & LENS with clients, I have witnessed miraculous healing especially from past traumatic events and abuse. Whether a one time distressing event like a car accident or years of childhood abuse, EMDR is the best and fastest therapy I’ve encountered to eliminate intense emotional arousal, negative thoughts and defeating beliefs.
