I have a Doctorate in Counseling and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Addictions Counselor, and Pastoral Counselor. I have worked in the counseling field for 25 years.I work at Buckingham and Associates in Indianapolis. I enjoy working with adults, couples, families, and teens. I help my clients grow, change, improve, and overcome issues in their lives. I treat Addictions, ADHD, Anxiety, Behavioral Problems, Christian Counseling, Couple Issues, Depression, Divorce,Gambling Problems, Marital Issues, and Grief and Loss Issues.

I work with clients by creating a safe space to explore, discover and express personal truths so that they are free to be and accept the best version of themselves and their partners or families. I help to foster emotional discovery, recognize communication barriers and prompt discussions that yield necessary positive change within both the self and within relational connections to others. I help clients to not only identify their personal truths, needs, and boundaries but to learn ways to recognize and accept the same in their relationship with partners or family.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental place for you to talk about your concerns. I believe people have been doing the best they know how even at their most troubled moment. My therapeutic focus is on helping clients identify and take responsibility for addressing issues ranging from minor life adjustment problems to serious mental health conditions based in brain chemistry deficits. Licensed as a clinical social worker since 1993, I have worked in the behavioral health field since 1979 in a variety of mental health and addictions-focused settings, including inpatient/hospital, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and educational programs. I also have an LMHC and an LCAC. I consider it an honor to work with clients courageous enough to ask for and accept help in meeting life's challenges.

Hello! My name is Amber Moody. I am a licensed mental health counselor. I have been practicing as a mental health counselor for the past 10 years. I graduated in 2012 with my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University.
