My practice is trauma informed and strength based. My therapy approaches are Narrative, Somatic and sensorimotor, Brain Spotting, CBT, Play and Sand Tray therapy, and others as applicable to yours, or your child's situation. A mindfulness practice, as well as sensorimotor activities enhance focus and the ability to regulate emotions no matter one's age.
I embrace a mind/body approach. In addition to my clinical training as a psychotherapist, I have practiced for twenty years as a Physician Assistant, in physical medicine/ rehabilitation.
