Dr. Celine Passeri, Psy.D. CEDS-C is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of Eating Disorders and co-occurring mental health illnesses,. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and CEDS Consultant. Dr. Passeri uses empirically based treatment modalities when working with her patients, which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Dr. Passeri provides individual, family and group counseling. Dr. Passeri is also the clinical advisor for Orlando children's eating disorder residential treatment center.
Dr. Passeri strongly believes in the importance of raising eating disorders awareness and providing specialized treatment. She is a chair member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals for the Central Florida chapter as well as the co-chair for the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness Orlando Affiliate.
Dr. Passeri and Associates provide two weekly eating disorder recovery groups (one adolescent group and one adult group). Dr. Passeri is bilingual and provides therapy in both English and French. Adolescents Eating Disorders Recovery Group
Dr. Passeri runs a weekly Eating Disorders Recovery group for teens. The group addresses a variety of themes, including the ins and outs of being in recovery, the power of positive body image, ways to experience fearless eating... and more importantly support! The group meets every Wednesday at 3 pm.
