About
I am now accepting new clients for afternoon appointments (Mon-Thurs)! My objective as a therapist is to create a safe (non-clinical/judgmental or cold feeling), supportive therapeutic environment to aid my clients in they're healing process and reach set goals. I feel that therapy works best when it is non-traditional, creative, and collaborative. My goal as your therapist would be to provide unconditional positive regard, strong rapport, be your biggest cheerleader, and make myself available to you on multiple platforms. Providing education and resources in and out of sessions is important to me!
From a young age I've had a passion for working with people. That passion has only grown with my professional experiences working in CPS/Foster Care, Substance Abuse Counseling, School Social Work, Medicaid population, Medication-Assisted programs and being an Outpatient Therapist for clients ranging from 4 to 60 years old.
My treatment specialties are: strength-based, client-centered, and person in environment. Additionally, my concentration is in CBT (among others) which has been successful with client's to gaining insight on their behavioral and maladaptive thinking patterns. I believe that anyone can benefit from therapy, and deserves it! I look forward to hearing from you!
