About
Hi, my name is Dr. Celia and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who opened my practice to help those who want to make a change in their lives. I specialize in working with trauma across the lifespan, which is how I know how significantly our brains and bodies can shift after a difficult event and/or a series of difficult life circumstances. Therapy is a space for us to explore how our past informs who we are. Being able to form meaningful relationships is a key part of our mental wellness, but it isn’t always so easy to do.
I specialize in trauma across the lifespan and working with children and adolescents. I especially utilize prolonged exposure therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and eye move desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I am also specialized in parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) which is perfect for children 2-7 years old.
It can be incredibly tough taking this first step and finding a good fit in a therapist is essential to making progress. Reach out with any questions and we can do a free brief consultation call to see if I am a good fit to help with what you or your child are going through.
