As a multilingual clinical psychologist (fluent in Spanish, English and French) who has worked in hospitals and private settings, I have had the opportunity to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds that are dealing with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. In my practice, I work from a holistic perspective since I believe that to understand and resolve the problems that lead us to seek therapy it is essential to take into account the physical, psychological, emotional, and social dimensions of the difficulties we are experiencing.
My work at WTC healthcare programs has provided me with extensive experience in working with trauma and the complex life challenges that result after a traumatic event. I also have specialized training in Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy and cognitive processing therapy for PTSD.
Other areas of specialty are couples therapy and weight management interventions from a mindfulness based perspective.
