Starting your therapy journey can sometimes feel like you are climbing Mount Everest. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my role is to assist you in exploring various perspectives, learning coping skills to facilitate your progress, and connecting you with your inner resilience. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each client, using visuals, art, poetry, and music to explore meaningful themes. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and a trauma-informed lens, including EMDR training, to safely address past experiences and support healing.
With a background in supporting first-generation children of immigrants, I help clients heal from loss and trauma. I'm experienced in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, life transitions, work/life balance, and generational trauma. Born in Veracruz, I work with English, Spanish, and Spanglish speakers.
