“What’s your story,” everyone has a story or a journey to tell. The difficult piece is when we struggle with finding the words for our story. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I enjoy assisting children and families through this journey. I believe that through the lens of play we are able to listen attentively to children’s stories, validate their feelings, and help them develop the skills and insights they need to overcome challenges and thrive through the world of play.
The tools I utilize, Theraplay, Narrative Therapy, TFCBT, IFS, Play Therapy Techniques and TBRI techniques as well. I also have experience addressing a wide range of issues, which include complex trauma, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, chronic illness, medical trauma and family conflicts.
My hope is to help children feel safe and supported as they navigate their emotional struggles through play. In my experience, when you embrace the messiness and unpredictability of play, you recognizing that healing and growth often emerge from moments of spontaneity and creativity.
