About
Telehealth only. You may be feeling ambivalent about therapy, wondering if you're ready to share uncomfortable or painful experiences. As a licensed clinical psychologist, my goal is to work collaboratively to understand these experiences through your lens. This allows for the opportunity to assist in developing new experiences that are meaningful to you. I engage in therapy with adults, couples, and adolescents. Specialties include relational difficulties, panic and anxiety, grief and loss, women's health, infertility, pregnancy, life transitions, trauma, post-traumatic growth and LGBQ and identity concerns.
Being born and raised on Oahu and clinically trained locally and on the mainland, I have experience and value working with clients from diverse backgrounds. Sessions are individually tailored to your needs using evidence-based relational, emotionally-focused, psychodynamic, mindfulness, acceptance-based, cognitive-behavioral, and integrative approaches.
I received Master's and Doctoral degrees from the PGSP-Stanford Consortium subsequent to receiving my Master's degree in Psychology in Education from Columbia University, Teachers College. Daytime weekday appointments available. For more information, please visit: drcecilysakai.com.
