When your bliss, or joy, is elusive, what do you do? How about when you find yourself in relationship patterns that don’t work, or you have communication difficulties? Or when anxiety or depression haunt you? I appreciate challenges and am well versed with facing difficult situations with my clients in a safe process. I have experience working with mild to severe trauma, anxiety and mood disorders. Five years experience assisting health professionals successfully overcome an occupational crisis. I coach mindfulness practice to guide people to strengthen capacity to regulate their nervous system.
I enjoy humor, depth and a straight forward approach to counseling. I facilitate healing with an eclectic approach that includes dialectic behavioral therapy, somatic therapy and solution-focused brief therapy. Deep listening and skillful use of tools help me support you in your unique process of being human.
My goal is that you will feel validated and heard. When we feel safe enough, we can often find the strength to face our difficulties and transform them in the direction of healing.
