An intimate, rich process group of 4-9 members who seek support around coping with a loved one's addiction or mental illness, and are ready to engage in self-care. Designed for high functioning individuals interested in embracing life's confounding challenges as an opportunity to transform their lives, grieve, find meaning, self-understanding, self-acceptance, serenity, humor, relationship skills, and remain accountable to personal hopes and dreams. Required continuity of participation, respect of self, and other's anonymity. Addiction Recovery Groups. Please Inquire
An intimate, rich process groupof 5-10 members. Designed for individuals who would like to embrace recovery as an opportunity to transform their lives, find meaning and guidance around life challenges facilitated by an experienced therapist. This relapse prevention group can be helpful when the individual in recovery wants to avoid plateau. Group therapy offers bonding, self-understanding, humor, relationship skills, coping skills, accountability. Required continuity of participation, respect of self and others' anonymity under the therapeutic guidance of a knowledgable and experienced Licensed Therapist. Didactic component available.
Combined Addiction Recovery Family Education Group
Education for clients and/ or family members impacted by substance abuse. Addresses the science of addiction and how substances change the brain, impacts relationships, behavior, self concept, and values. Education topics cover: PAW (Post Acute Withdraw), relapse prevention, cross addiction, coping skills for cravings, stages of change, family roles, communication skills, understanding emotions, trust, boundaries, anger, shame, self-soothing mindfulness techniques, uniting to fight "the dragon" of addiction (not each other) and embarking on a recovery journey. Attendance of Education Group suggested concurrently or prior to process group participation. Call for schedule, sign up, or to plan a seminar.
