I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed psychoanalyst and have been working with individuals, couples and families for over 20 years in counseling centers and in private practice. I will help you connect painful past with current problems, resolve them, and realize your potential. I can help you change challenging family dynamics and improve parent/child relationships. I can help adolescents with their struggles at school, at home, or in social situations.
In my work with couples I don't look for a guilty party. I focus on ineffective patterns of interaction between participants in order to change them and create more intimacy. Through years of experience I have learned many ways to help relationships return to stability and happiness.
My quite unique specialty is Jungian analysis which allows to work with deep layers of the psyche through dreams and imagination, along with traditional ways of talk therapy. My approach is holistic and based on using mind/body connection, creativity, and spirituality in dealing with life challenges.
