A lot of people I work with come in feeling like they should be fine, or everyone thinks they are fine, but are feeling anxious, shameful, burnt out, alone, or lost. You don't have to untangle it all on your own, we can figure it out together.
I'm big on compassion. For ourselves, and for others. When we can compassionately take a look at our experiences, we often see that much of what we are doing that is now "not working" actually did work at some point. I want to honor that while supporting you in making changes that feel right for who you are now, and who you're becoming.
I use lots of inner-child work/reparenting techniques, schema therapy, some internal family systems therapy, and a touch of CBT and DBT when appropriate. My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and being a real human in the room with you.
