Everything feels like it’s running together: the hours into days, and days into weeks; work-life into home-life; your various roles colliding into each other. Everyone seems to have high expectations and you are running on low fuel. It has gotten to be so much that you can’t tell the difference between who you are and the various roles you play. You don’t even have time to think about who you are. Who you REALLY are.
If this sounds like you, let’s chat. I am trauma-informed therapist with over 15 years of experience specializing in identity exploration, relationship dynamics, and self-expression.
I can teach you skills like effective boundary-setting, the ability to identify and meet your emotional needs, feel and express your emotions, all while building distress tolerance skills so that you can take back ownership of your life. As a trans woman who came out as gay in the 90s, I also work well with all genders and the LGBTQ community.
I integrate acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in my therapeutic approach as well as role-playing games (such as Dungeons and Dragons) and improv (for those who would like to add a splash of fun and novelty to their treatment plan).
