I am a licensed clinical psychologist who helps adults, adolescents, and couples understand and cope with difficult feelings and behaviors that are getting in their way. Sometimes we feel inexplicably sad, lonely, withdrawn, defeated, alienated, anxious, or self-defeating. These feelings can impact our lives and relationships in a negative way. By exploring and understanding these feelings and behaviors together, we can begin to work on changing the negative patterns and to restore a sense of connection and engagement.
Therapy can help you identify the patterns in your life that may be getting in your way. With this knowledge you are better able to make clear choices and to have more autonomy and clarity in your life.
I am trained as a psychodynamic therapist and I am engaged with the process in the room. However, I am open to combining different techniques as needed to address your specific goals. I am committed to meeting your unique needs in an environment where you feel comfortable, understood and supported.
