For over 25 years I have worked extensively with strong emotional states, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and relational issues. I can help clients to find the confidence to open to all states of mind through self-awareness. If you are interested in personal growth, in deepening your relationship with yourself and others, I can provide a way to help you to open to who you are more fully. This will give you the tools to navigate through tough times and bring kindness and courage to your life. I bring a warm presence to the therapeutic relationship and look forward to exploring together.
My 40+ years of Buddhist contemplative practice provides the greatest influence in how I work therapeutically. This grounding allows me to be present with others and provides the view that every state of mind is workable. My work is present- centered and somatically based. I do dreamwork as well.
I hold a master's degree in Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University and have in-depth training in both developmental and trauma-based work through Hakomi Integrative Somatics. I have had a private practice and have been faculty at Naropa for 20 years. I have also led group retreats and have facilitated women's groups.
