Sometimes "talk therapy" isn't enough. EMDR works directly with the brain and the way thoughts, memory, feelings, beliefs and body sensations are stored when we experience disturbing events/trauma. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist experienced in treating traumatic stress reactions, depression, anxiety, grief & loss. I specialize in using EMDR, IFS-EMDR, Flash Technique, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT), somatic awareness, and mindfulness tools with a focus on: the helping professions, survivors of trauma, natural disasters, critical incidents, adverse childhood/ life experiences.
Using an individualized, multi-dimensional, integrative approach to mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, we work together to untangle personal trauma from vicarious trauma, burnout, compassion fatigue, resolve effects primary/secondary trauma, address cumulative stressors and promote psychological and physiological healing.
