Hello, I am glad you are reaching out. It takes courage to ask for help. I know that it's not always easy and I am proud of you for taking the first step! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 21 years of counseling experience. I am licensed in both Tennessee and Utah. I am here to support you on your journey towards mental health and well-being. I provide a safe and compassionate space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. My clients often struggle with the "unknowns" of life and I like to help people feel more comfortable with the unknown and to trust the process of life.
During our first session, we will explore your history and how you got to be where you are today. We will talk about where you grew up and your family dynamics, as well as what your life is like currently. We will establish and review therapy goals, and discuss any concerns. I always ask: what do I need to know about you in order to best help you?
I feel my biggest strengths as a therapist are my authenticity, empathy, and my ability to actively listen to my clients without judgment. I have a genuine interest in understanding emotions and experiences, which helps me build trust and rapport. I am accepting new clients, both insurance and self pay.
