About
I specialize in working with children and adults at the different stages throughout their lives. I have experience working with adults navigating struggles of adulthood, relationships, and parenthood. Stages of life bring adjustments that can be challenging. Navigating those complexities is where I can help. I have worked with individuals and couples who struggle with fertility and adoption. I see individuals who might need help with with anxiety, depression, financial stress, relationships, family changes, social skills, and grief/loss. It is my goal for us to work together to build healthy communication, families and individuals.
My various professional positions have given me a unique perspective on mental health. I have worked with individuals for the last 20 years as a teacher and therapist. Brainspotting is a therapeutic process which can decrease intense emotional reactions. Navigating financial stress can be a helpful tool to decrease conflict and anxiety.
I tailor the therapy session based on what the client and family need. My office is able to accommodate both children and adults based on the need of the client. In order to provide comfort children the office has a play therapy room along with a more traditional room that can accommodate other individuals.
