There isn't any one approach to psychotherapy that is right for everyone. As your therapist, I will take a highly individualized approach to the work that we do by starting with a comprehensive approach to understanding your unique circumstances and goals. My work is always guided by the principles of a psychodynamic approach, is informed by a wide range of psychoanalytic theories and is grounded in the wisdom of somatic experiencing.
My training and experience includes such modalities as The Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, psychodynamic, psychoanalytic and forensic assessment and The Gottman Method.
I primarily work with individual adults and couples. I have plentiful experience working with trauma, anxiety, sexual assault, eating disorders, depression, personality disorders and relationship issues.
