Are you looking for a therapist who is direct and authentic? I believe in "telling it like it is" and bringing both my professional and personal experience to the conversation. I usually say I specialize in trauma, but honestely, I have yet to meet an adult who has not experienced trauma. The biggest injury from childhood trauma is when we become disconnected from our true selves. Many experiences can teach us to disconnect. My passion is inviting a conversation in which compassion and curiosity create an experience where we can find our Self. When we connect with our truth, we can find the way out of the struggle.
I have been a licensed clinical social worker since 1999, dedicating my career to helping people find balance in their lives. I have extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and integrate it with Internal Family Systems, EMDR, DBT, and Satir Family Systems.
