My mission as a Licensed Professional Counselor/Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor is to help my clients live a more healthy and meaningful life by using evidence based practices and a safe judgment free space. I have experience helping individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and histories of trauma or abuse. I have dedicated my educational and professional career to the understanding of trauma, and trauma treatment. As a former active duty military spouse I am familiar with many populations and the struggles associated with the military including but not limited to combat trauma, PTSD, and military sexual trauma.
I primarily utilize CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and Person Centered Therapy modalities. These therapies assist in developing a healthy therapeutic relationship and sponsors a safe non-judgmental space to work and grow.
