About
My passion for counseling arises from my deep desire to help provide clarity, hope, and healing for those struggling with issues surrounding depression, anxiety, grief, eating disorders, conflict resolution, marriage, and parenting issues. I largely utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) while working with individuals, couples and families to live a more wholehearted life. I value the integration of faith and psychology as a foundation for partnering with clients.
I work primarily with adolescents, adults and couples. As I believe we are a combination of mind, body and spirit, I address each area with compassionate care for supported growth towards living wholehearted lives. My openness and gentleness help me to therapeutically partner with clients seeking to make positive life changes.
We live in a challenging world where our experiences and wounds can begin to direct our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Through a combination of clinical and spiritual principles, however, we can heal from our experiences, challenge our thoughts and redirect behaviors towards healthy, more life-giving outcomes.
