We can start feeling despair, hopeless, or stuck. Trauma, loss, mental illness, and stressful life events are just some of the complicating factors. With over 25 years of experience working in the field of mental health and wellness, I can help you work through the challenges you face and lead you to a more fulfilling life. I offer both short-term and long-term models of psychotherapy for adults and youth of all ages and walks of life.
My work with clients is relationally based, respectful and compassionate. I am sensitive to the impact of social injustice and work to explore these issues so that clients feel validated and empowered. Having served as the Clinical Director of a mental health agency for over a decade, I am also available for professional consultation and/or supervision.
I use a blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to your specific needs. In addition to talk therapy, I also use somatic awareness, mindfulness meditation, storytelling/journaling, sand tray therapy, EMDR and Emotional Freedom Technique.
