The experience of finding a qualified therapist who feels like a good match can be exhausting. There are far too many options and the idea of telling a stranger anything about yourself is daunting. My job is fourfold: to listen to your issues, recognize maladaptive patterns or behaviors, help to connect your emotions to your actions, and teach coping skills that nurture an overall sense of competency and contentment.
I grew up in San Francisco and NYC and enjoy working with diverse populations. Outside of my private practice, my experience has been in hospitals, schools and addiction/recovery related outpatient settings. I have an insatiable thirst for learning and a creative side. Before receiving my MSW I worked in art departments for TV, film, theater & print media.
My clients tell me I am an interactive therapist with "a unique gift for offering clarity and perspective in complex situations".
