For the past 35 years, I have truly enjoyed helping individuals who really want to get well and are willing to work hard to achieve full recovery. I Have a Heart for helping Trauma Victims get to the root of the pain that keeps them stuck in their lives and relationships. Victims of Trauma often spend a lifetime reenacting their trauma in one relationship after another, until they finally give up on trying to "get it right".
I practice a form of Trauma Treatment called EMDR and also integrate Internal Family Systems Therapy into my work with trauma survivors. I am a Christian so I work with many Christian Couples and Individuals to help them with family and Marital issues. I am happy to work with anyone who needs help with their trauma.
I have a great deal of experience working with anxiety disorders, domestic violence, women's issues, and grief and loss. I have a youtube channel called Relational Healing and my website is Catherinenewtoncounseling.com.
