I became a counselor because I’m passionate about helping people heal and grow. For nearly 10 years, I’ve served North Carolina as a Licensed Counselor, supporting clients of all ages through life’s challenges. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where each person is met with understanding that enables them to move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. My own experiences have shaped my desire to help others, and I offer the same empathy and care I would want to receive myself.
I lead counseling sessions with my authentic self, including therapeutic use of humor. I’m highly skilled at empathizing with clients while helping them see situations from different perspectives. I guide them beneath the surface in order to work through the root of their issues. I am also very action oriented.
In our first session, we’ll begin building rapport while gathering history. You will be met with unconditional positive regard and empathy. We’ll discuss your reasons for coming to therapy, what you hope to change/gain, basically how you want to grow as a result of therapy.
