Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade with storytelling nonprofit The Moth, where I helped people connect to one another and to themselves through telling personal stories. That experience has greatly shaped my approach to mental health; I aim to help you make meaning of your past experiences and to let go of old stories that no longer serve you.
I also believe that sometimes insight alone is not enough for true change to occur, so I draw upon an experiential, somatic approach - incorporating Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) interventions - to help you gain deeper awareness of your emotions and intuition.
