Therapy is like a journey that requires trust, support and guidance in order to reach a goal. I have been working with individuals, children and families since 1989 in a variety of settings. I work extensively with victims of trauma, separation/divorce, and clients dealing with depression, bereavement and anxiety. I specialize in working with individuals and children with Anxiety Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Child Physical/Sexual Abuse and Neglect, Depression, and ADHD.
I like to use different materials to assist a client in counseling. This may be through play therapy techniques, sand tray therapy techniques,art therapy techniques, relaxation and visualization techniques, spirituality and music therapy. Much work can be done through writing, drawing, and use of clay.
