Ideally, clients develop a trust with their therapist to work towards resolving those situations that are causing them stress, pain, discomfort or anxiety. Therapy is like a journey that encounters rough and smooth terrains, hills and valleys and obstacles to overcome. But with support and guidance the goal can be achieved. I have been working with individuals, children and families since 1989 in a variety of settings. I work extensively with victims of trauma, separation/divorce, clients dealing with depression, bereavement and anxiety. If your goal is to reach inner peace, then I can assist you in completing that journey.
I specialize in working with individuals, children and families with Anxiety Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Child Physical/Sexual Abuse and Neglect, Depression, Grief and ADHD. I am a Certified Reunification Therapist working with families in high conflict custody situations within the court system.
I enjoy using a variety of techniques to assist clients in their therapeutic journey. One approach does not fit all individuals, children, or families.
