I’m Cathy Kleinschmit, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate challenges like trauma, ADHD, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues. Before becoming a counselor, I spent 15 years working in the public school system as a paraprofessional, supporting both elementary and high school students.

I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and use a range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness techniques.

I believe that creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard is the key to success in therapy. Together, we’ll work on identifying your strengths, setting healthy boundaries, and finding practical solutions to help you move forward.
