I am a licensed professional counselor, licensed addiction counselor, and marriage and family therapist candidate. I work with clients who suffer from the long-term impacts of trauma and addiction. I am an EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, and Rogerian therapist.
In my experience with trauma, I have seen nothing so beautiful as the resiliency of the human spirit, and its ability to persevere and overcome. I most frequently use EMDR, IFS, and CBT in my therapy.
I most frequently work with overcoming trauma and addiction. I believe in getting to the seed of the problem to address the maladaptive behaviors that have manifested from there. I believe that it is a collaborative approach. I want to hear about the client's wants and needs.
