You are overwhelmed with life challenges. You accept that you have important work to do, but It's hard to find the starting place. The strategies and habits that used to work don't any longer. You might have friends, but this feels like too much of a burden for friends-and perhaps there is shame, anger, or past trauma affecting judgement? I will be the witness. I'll also be the cheerleader for the courage you'll need to create your future. I take all Presbyterian and Blue Cross insurances (Medicaid, Commercial and Medicare). I work in-office or in community Walk and Talk sessions (ABQ only), as well as online via telehealth.
I offer a traditional psycho-dynamic talk therapy approach in combination with 'bottom up' modalities such as clinical hypnotherapy, EMDR, and IFS (informed). I work with adults currently, but in addition to psychotherapy, I have experience as a special-needs parenting coach. I am also a New Mexico certified clinical supervisor to new social work graduates.
