Psychodynamic psychotherapy can be transformative. Clients find that when they develop a deeper understanding of what prevents them from meeting their potential and sustaining satisfying relationships, they are able to clear a path to a more fulfilling life. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and at times, infused with a genuine sense of humor. I also offer: 3-4x/week psychoanalysis (sliding scale fee); Psychotherapy with a supervisee at a reduced fee or in-network with Cigna; and Supervision to LCSWs and LMHCs ($195/45 minutes).
While many therapeutic modalities focus on short-term goals and achieving symptom reduction, psychodynamic psychotherapy leads to sustained, long-term change. By understanding their history, important relationships, and even patterns that emerge in the therapeutic dyad, clients are empowered to move forward with a new perspective.
