I believe one of the most courageous things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Many people see therapy as an intimidating situation. Often people envision a one-sided interaction with a distant therapist providing ambiguous feedback or over-generalized commentary. I am the opposite! I spend the time to gain get to know you and provide real, honest observations. I work to identify your personal strengths and utilize them to work towards your goals- I don't believe therapy has to be an emotionally painful process. Since 2014, I have helped individuals from a variety of backgrounds find meaning and purpose.
I work with a variety of different therapeutic approaches including CBT, REBT, and DBT. I am trained in EMDR and can utilize this intervention to assist you work through acute or longterm trauma. Most importantly, I am client directed. I am always looking for your feedback as to what is or is not working for you to reach your goals.
As I get to know you personally, I adapt my interventions to work with your preferences and personality. I have years of experience with individuals struggling with narcissistic abuse, addiction, anxiety, depression, personality disorder, trauma, and OCD.
