Are you feeling angry and overwhelmed by what's happening in the country and around the world? I get it. Moral injury comes from witnessing events and having to take actions that contradict your deeply held moral beliefs. If you are having intrusive thoughts, reliving painful memories, or having difficulty managing what's happening now, talk therapy may not be enough. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and I can help you work through your experiences, without having to talk about all the details. Let's put the past in the past, so you can focus on what you want to do now.
I specialize in helping people who have experienced complex, on-going trauma, including survivors of childhood abuse, military veterans, first responders, and federal workers. Also, if you feel like you're different and are concerned therapists won't understand you, let's talk. I work well with people who are neurodivergent, autistic, queer, or introverted.
I offer free 15-minute consultations, and I will help you decide if EMDR therapy is right for you at this time. I offer 60-minute sessions for clients who need to use their insurance, and offer longer, more intensive sessions which can help you work through your issues more rapidly. These sessions can last from 90-minutes to several day therapy retreats.
